On the 28th and 29th of this month (June, 2022) I went on a trip to Northwest Mass to acitivate six parks/forests that had never been activated on Parks on the air (POTA). These parks were highly secluded with no internet or phone capabilities. I was only successful at four of the six parks.

This was my third activation of the day, and the easiest. The 20 meter band finally opened up. Misquamicut State Beach was pretty much deserted. Was a wonderful day to be on the beach.

Worked park K-7717, Charlestown Breachway State Park. This was a tough activation as the bands were not favorable and I could not get close to the water. Most of the signal headed west by the look of the map. I suppose we can not get much further east then here in RI.
